Did Lea Michele Push Charice Out of 'Glee'? A Look at Rumored On-Set Feuds (omg!)
Sunshine Corazon (Charice) will not appear on "Glee's" season 3, and rumors have circulated that the show's resident diva, Lea Michele, may have had something to do with this.
Last season, the pint-sized powerhouse was slated to appear on at least five episodes, but as we all know, that didn't happen.
As one source reports, "Charice was signed for a minimum of five episodes and did a press junket with Chord Overstreet. She had a big debut, but things changed and they didn't put her back in. The word is, Lea is the big star, and producers want to keep her happy."
Yet a "Glee" insider denies that such a feud exists. The insider reports that Charice's downgraded appearances had more to do with her busy performing schedule as well as the season's changing story arcs.
As the source explains, "Lea is a consummate pro who couldn't be more welcoming of other powerhouse singers on the show, from Kristin Chenoweth to Idina Menzel."
Rachel did send Sunshine to a crack house, but then again, Rachel is not Lea.
In-fighting and rumored feuds have existed in television for decades. Who else was part of a public TV feud?
Maureen McCormick and Eve Plumb
These former "Brady Bunch" sisters seemed to experience a fallout when Maureen claimed that she once had a crush on her TV sister and that they had shared a lesbian kiss. Maureen later explained that the comment had been a "joke." Meanwhile, Eve and her agent denied that the rumored feud even exited.
Betty White and Bea Arthur
While these "Golden Girls" bonded over cheesecake on-screen, rumors of feuds between these two have existed for years. As Betty once explained, "She was not that fond of me. She found me a pain in the neck sometimes. It was my positive attitude - and that made Bea mad sometimes. Sometimes if I was happy, she'd be furious!"
Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker
Rumors circulated that the "Sex and the City" ladies used to fight on-set. Yet while the ladies admit that they have sparred occasionally, they insist that they are still friends. As Parker explained, "when you're working 90-hour weeks, you're never home, you're exhausted. There have been times when all of us are sensitive and feelings get hurt. But I don't have any regrets about how I've treated people."
