Over the years, made ??the cinema at home plate, a slow and expensive way of making silent home videos to contemporary web cameras. Today, computer technology and the speed of the Internet are combining to make room for quality film for almost allPerson.

Depending on your goals, we recommend purchasing one or more different types of film-making software. Much will depend on the amount involved in the scripting language, and visual and hearing how much you want to achieve in a video. In most cases, especially if you are interested in films a random event, or without a script, change the lighting, and add a little sound, "you have made ??the utility available with Windows Vista, most everything is, what. need

If you are making serious films, necessarily want to save you a dialogue or a script that people act out. This script is also a model of how and where to specify the movement of the actors, and, when occurring auditory and visual effects. Today there are a large number of software programs that will write a movie that will help the script. If you do not want to spend money for software such as Final Draft Dramatica or Block Buster Truby, theThere are some freeware alternatives. This includes friends script, Celtx, script editors, Cinergy.

While the plot and the actors are crucial for a film, the filmmaking and captivating the audience with other sights and sounds. Often, the visual effects will remain for years in memory of the spectators. In fact, some film producers in their tracks this kind of damage did. Who can ET bike across the moon, remember to light sword of Luke Skywalker, and Willy (the whale) surge protection through a ring of fire? While software like Maya and can also your price range, Adobe Elements or Adobe Live offer useful enough to add a little more luster to his film endeavors.

When Al Jolson, many years ago, people pioneering work on You Tube and Facebook are challenging the auditory aspects of filmmaking. Not long ago, MIDI synthesizers are the most important way to add sound to a website or a video. AP-GfK poll: Views on economy, Obama role sour

Chart shows results of opinion polls on Obama and the economy

WASHINGTON (AP) ? Americans' views on the economy have dimmed this summer. But so far, the growing pessimism doesn't seem to be taking a toll on President Barack Obama's re-election prospects.

More people now believe the country is headed in the wrong direction, a new Associated Press-GfK poll shows, and confidence in Obama's handling of the economy has slipped from just a few months ago, notably among fellow Democrats.

The survey found that 86 percent of adults see the economy as "poor," up from 80 percent in June. About half ? 49 percent ? said it worsened just in the past month. Only 27 percent responded that way in the June survey.

That can't be good news for a president revving up his re-election campaign. Yet there are several hopeful signs for Obama.

Despite the perception of a weakening recovery, there has been no significant change in the number of people who say he deserves re-election: 47 percent as opposed to 48 percent two months ago. The not-so-good news for Obama: That's a statistical dead heat with those who favor a change in the White House.

And more Americans still blame former President George W. Bush rather than Obama for the economic distress. Some 31 percent put the bulk of the blame on Obama, while 51 percent point to his Republican predecessor.

"I think Bush had a hand in it, too. Obama's not totally responsible," said Mary Parish, 68, of Troy, Tenn. An independent who voted for Republican John McCain in 2008, she said she doesn't believe Obama has what it takes to heal the economy. "He's a smooth-talking man. But he does not know what he's doing."

Obama also fares better than Congress in the blame department. Some 44 percent put "a lot" or "most" of the blame on Republicans while 36 percent point to congressional Democrats.

The gloomy economic outlook reflected in the poll, which was taken Aug. 18-22, follows a round of bleak government economic reports ? on unemployment, the housing market and economic growth that fell below 1 percent for the first six months of the year. It was taken amid heightened worries of a new U.S. recession, fallout from a downgrade of the country's credit rating and a spreading European debt crisis.

As the public's outlook on the economy dips, so has approval for the president's economic stewardship.

More than 6 in 10 ? 63 percent ? disapprove of Obama's handling of the economy. Nearly half, or 48 percent, "strongly" disapproved. Approval of his economic performance now stands at just 36 percent, his worst approval rating on the issue in AP-GfK polling.

Among Democrats, 58 percent approve of the president's handling of the economy, down from 65 percent in June. Among Republicans, approval dipped to 9 percent from 15 percent.

Just 51 percent consider Obama a strong leader, down from 60 percent in June and 65 percent following the capture and death of Osama bin Laden in May. In June, 85 percent of Democrats in the poll called him a strong leader. Now, the number is down to 76 percent.

Of course, there are limits to what a president can do.

"I think he can nudge it along, but really, it boils down to the private sector," said Dan Elliott, 42, of Hillsboro, Ill., an independent who voted for Obama in 2008 and says he'll probably vote for him again.

Judith Lee, 63, a retired teacher from Great Diamond Island, Maine, said she's a Republican who voted for Obama in 2008 but has been disappointed by his leadership style.

"I don't think he is a very forceful leader," Lee said. "His style of leadership seems to be to look for consensus and ideas from other people, and it seems to have been ineffective. And Congress seems to be deadlocked on problems."

Some 75 percent in the poll said the country is heading in the wrong direction, up from 63 percent in June. Among Democrats, 61 percent chose "wrong direction" ? up from 46 percent in June.

In a new high, 52 percent of all adults said they disapprove of his overall performance ? 52 percent, up from 47 percent in June. Among Democrats, approval fell 8 points, to 74 percent from 82 percent in June. Among Republicans, it fell to 11 percent from 22 percent.

Politically, the poll underscores the difficult time ahead for Obama as he seeks re-election in a shaky economy.

Unemployment increased to 9.2 percent in July, up from 9.1 percent in June. And most economists don't expect it to decline much below 8.5 percent by the November 2012 presidential election. No president has won re-election with a jobless rate that high since Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1936.

So why hasn't the recent rise in pessimism taken more of a toll in terms of those who want Obama to have a second term and those who don't?

Despite the general rise in gloom, it seems unlikely that liberal Democrats will flock away from Obama even if they have rising doubts about his agenda or economic leadership, analysts suggest. And independents, who helped elect Obama in 2008 and are now being actively wooed by both parties, did not exhibit significant changes in their approval levels.

It was at 44 percent, statistically no different from the 43 percent approval rating among independents in June.

"A lot is out of his hands," said Penny Johansen, 65, a retired legal secretary from Tempe, Ariz. "There is only so much one person can do, and one person cannot be blamed for the acts of others." Politically unaligned, she voted for Obama in 2008 and says she'll probably do so again.

On related economic issues, 59 percent said they disapproved of Obama's handling of tax issues, up from 53 percent in June. And 64 percent said they disapproved of his handling of the annual budget deficit, compared with 63 percent in June.

Sixty percent described the financial situation in their own households as "good," about even with the level in June. Asked if they expected their financial situation to change over the next 12 months, 31 percent said they expected it to get better, 12 percent expected it to get worse and a majority ? 56 percent ? said they expected it to "stay about the same."

With the stock market whipsawing each day between large gains and losses, and with roughly half of all Americans owning stocks and bonds either through 401(k)-type pension plans or individually, only 30 percent of those surveyed said they thought it was a "good time to invest" in the stock market.

Saying it was a "bad time" was 67 percent.

Americans are more optimistic about investing in real estate amid the worst housing market in decades, with 57 percent saying it as a good time to invest in real estate and 40 percent saying it is a bad time.

Stocks continued their roller coaster ride on Thursday, as U.S. stocks dropped sharply after gains earlier in the session.

As to creating jobs, some 44 percent said they would trust Democrats to do a better job, while 42 percent said Republicans would.

The AP-GfK poll was conducted Aug. 18-22 by GfK Roper Public Affairs and Corporate Communications. It involved landline and cellphone interviews with 1,000 adults nationwide and has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4.1 percentage points.

Did Lea Michele Push Charice Out of 'Glee'? A Look at Rumored On-Set Feuds (omg!)

Sunshine Corazon (Charice) will not appear on "Glee's" season 3, and rumors have circulated that the show's resident diva, Lea Michele, may have had something to do with this.

Last season, the pint-sized powerhouse was slated to appear on at least five episodes, but as we all know, that didn't happen.

As one source reports, "Charice was signed for a minimum of five episodes and did a press junket with Chord Overstreet. She had a big debut, but things changed and they didn't put her back in. The word is, Lea is the big star, and producers want to keep her happy."

Yet a "Glee" insider denies that such a feud exists. The insider reports that Charice's downgraded appearances had more to do with her busy performing schedule as well as the season's changing story arcs.

As the source explains, "Lea is a consummate pro who couldn't be more welcoming of other powerhouse singers on the show, from Kristin Chenoweth to Idina Menzel."

Rachel did send Sunshine to a crack house, but then again, Rachel is not Lea.

In-fighting and rumored feuds have existed in television for decades. Who else was part of a public TV feud?

Maureen McCormick and Eve Plumb

These former "Brady Bunch" sisters seemed to experience a fallout when Maureen claimed that she once had a crush on her TV sister and that they had shared a lesbian kiss. Maureen later explained that the comment had been a "joke." Meanwhile, Eve and her agent denied that the rumored feud even exited.

Betty White and Bea Arthur

While these "Golden Girls" bonded over cheesecake on-screen, rumors of feuds between these two have existed for years. As Betty once explained, "She was not that fond of me. She found me a pain in the neck sometimes. It was my positive attitude - and that made Bea mad sometimes. Sometimes if I was happy, she'd be furious!"

Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker

Rumors circulated that the "Sex and the City" ladies used to fight on-set. Yet while the ladies admit that they have sparred occasionally, they insist that they are still friends. As Parker explained, "when you're working 90-hour weeks, you're never home, you're exhausted. There have been times when all of us are sensitive and feelings get hurt. But I don't have any regrets about how I've treated people."

'TouchDroid' Project Hits a Snag (NewsFactor)

Hewlett-Packard's TouchPad tablet has only been dead a week and it's already become a much sought-after item. But a project to replace TouchPad's webOS with the open-source operating system Android already has hit a snag.

The group of programmers working to create a "TouchDroid" has had a rift, stemming from an alleged misrepresentation by one of the group's members -- and the possible misuse of donations meant for the project.

Allegations About Team Member

Project leader Thomas Sohmers has told news media that one team member used donations to buy TouchPads, which he then resold for a profit. Sohmers also said the unnamed person misrepresented his background and deleted the TouchDroid Twitter account when the questions started. There are also reports on the web that this team member deleted some critical development files.

The unnamed team member has denied the accusations. Sohmers has indicated he will be restarting the TouchDroid project with a few of the original team members.

Centered on the Rootz Wiki forum, the group -- called TouchDroid -- is looking to first port Android 2.3, Gingerbread, to the TouchPad, and then begin working on a port for Android 3.0, Honeycomb. Honeycomb is the first Android version designed specifically for tablets.

An Android on TouchPad page has also been established on Facebook.

One website, Hack N Mod, is offering a reward of $2,150 for a successful port of Android to the TouchPad. The total is actually broken down into components, such as $950 for the basic Android port, $350 for getting Wi-Fi working, and so on.

TouchDroid on eBay?

At the same time, there are web reports of some sightings of TouchPads already running Android, apparently the result of some tests by Qualcomm's internal developer group. One TouchPad running Android has been offered in an auction on eBay, and the seller, someone called Dallasboygreen, has suggested that the unit might be entered into the Hack N Mod competition.

On Thursday of last week, HP announced it would no longer manufacture devices using its webOS platform, which it obtained when it bought Palm for $1.2 billion in 2010. By Monday, the tablets were selling at $99 for the 16GB model, which was $499 when first released in July, and $149 for the 32GB, formerly $599.

That radical price drop led to a run on the remaining tablets, with the HP website, Best Buy, Amazon.com and other retailers reporting sellouts. HP has said it will make some more TouchPads available for sale shortly.

Sony announces entry-level A65, adds yet another DSLR to the Alpha family

Sony is on a roll with some fairly incredible product unveilings this morning. The Alpha A65 is almost an afterthought when compared to today's NEX-7 and A77 announcements, but this $900 (body only) DSLR targets the vastly popular entry-level category, while still including a new OLED electronic viewfinder, 24.3 megapixel CMOS APS-C sensor, and 1080 / 60p AVCHD video capture. Many of the A77's other features made the cut as well, including Sony's Translucent Mirror Technology, an ISO range of 100-16,000, object tracking autofocus, and a high-speed shooting mode (though the pricier model can shoot 12 fps, compared to 10 fps on the A65). You will be missing out on the A77's nifty three-way tilt and swivel LCD, though the A65's display does support tilt. Also missing is a 19-point AF sensor (the A65's has 15 points), a secondary text LCD, and support for an optical vertical grip. Jump past the break for a brief video walkthrough from Sony, along with a sneak peek at the A77.

Once considered a possibly relative of the male ?murse,? messenger bags are the in-thing nowadays for guys of all ages. Whether you use them for carrying books, handheld video game systems or just to stay up with the current and latest trends, tons of celebrities including Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds have been spotted sporting these new stylistic pieces from Cole Haan, David King and other designers. Here are a few tips to help you choose the perfect messenger bag for you:messenger-bag

??? ?Casual messenger bags are typically inexpensive and often have a more casual look and feel to them making them perfect for using when going out or for class.
??? ?Leather messenger bags, such as the ones designed by Cole Haan, often look more professional than casual bags as they often appear more similar to a briefcase and purse hybrid. It?ll help to create a striking business and serious look.
??? ?Some messenger bags are designed to carry a laptop or netbook, containing specific pockets for all of your accessories including cords and flash drives. Although they aren?t the most sophisticated looking messenger bag, they?re very convenient and perfect for anyone who needs to transport or carry their devices.
??? ?When purchasing your messenger bag, two more important factors that you will need to include is what you will be putting inside of it and what type of strap you prefer. Remember, as one wise guru once told me, it?s not the size that matters. It?s how you use it.

People react after magnitude 5.8 quake rocks East Coast (The Newsroom)

A magnitude 5.8 earthquake rocked the East Coast, one of the most powerful ever recorded in that region, prompting evacuations at the Pentagon, White House and Capitol. The tremors, which were felt as far north as Rhode Island and New York City, sent people flooding into the streets. Cell phone reception failed as people tried to get in touch with friends and family to figure out what was happening. For many, it was their first time experiencing an earthquake.

"I've never felt an earthquake before," says Joao Costa, a Yahoo! News editor in New York City. "The office building shook for about 15 seconds.? Jokingly, I yelled out 'quake!' and my colleagues laughed. Some got up and looked at the ceiling, after all, a week before a big chunk had fallen on Dan Gross's desk. It took about a second to realize that it really was a quake, and had nothing to do with the construction on the top floor. Then I saw the news alerts."

Mark Pesavento, a Yahoo! Sports blog editor who lives in northwest D.C. felt the tremor as he worked from home.

"Our house shook violently for 15-20 seconds with lighter shaking for maybe another 5-10 seconds," he says. "My monitor was shaking, the walls, I could see the ceiling moving. At first I thought it was a truck going by on the major street our house sits on, but I used to live in Los Angeles, and as soon as I heard no truck, I knew exactly what it was and ducked under my office desk. Our landline phone was down for about a half hour, [but] is back now. Cell service was also unavailable in the immediate aftermath. My wife's office was evacuated, as were several other offices in D.C. [I'm told.]"

While state buildings were being evacuated, some are going about their business as usual, says Phil Pruitt, a Yahoo! Politics editor.

"All streets right around the U.S. Capitol, Supreme Court building, Library of Congress, and House and Senate office buildings are closed. Metro is closed too," he says. "The Capitol is not expected to open again today, according to Capitol police. Sounds of sirens are everywhere, plus building alarms. People however are just walking around, and Lincoln Park just blocks from Capitol has the usual number of parents and strollers and dogs. Looks like a typical Friday August afternoon.

Pruitt also saw how others reacted at the East Potomac Park Golf Club House.

"People in [the club house] came flying out of the building and everybody on the porch and around the building were all shouting, 'Did you feel that?' One man shouted, 'I hope nothing got hit,' apparently thinking of a terrorist attack,' he says. "Another man in a van in the parking lot said he jumped out, that it felt like somebody was on the back jumping up and down. And two women walking through the parking lot were overheard [saying], 'We had only had one beer. I didn't know what that was!'"

Erin Wright, a Yahoo! Philadelphia editor took to social media to see what people were saying about the quake and reported it in an on-the-scene live blog.

"DID WE JUST LIVETWEET AN EARTHQUAKE?"

"Whoa ... anyone feel that?"

"My building just shook ..."

"This is Philly! Philly?! What the ? is going on?"

"Sitting through earthquakes ? not my job description," one person groused on Facebook.

"Those [in] D.C. seemed to be the most shaken up ? literally ? being so close to the epicenter of the quake," she wrote in the blog. "Communications were down, too, as emergency switchboards were jammed with people calling to ask just what the heck was going on.

"So far, no reports of injuries or damages. In Philly, the Comcast Center is closed and all City Council employees sent home for the day. SEPTA is running behind schedule (usually don't need an earthquake for that to happen). Things seem to be going back to normal in New York, too."

At the Pentagon, the tremors caused some people to wonder if they were being attacked.

"No one had a clue what was going on," says Luis Martinez, an ABC News Pentagon Producer. "Some of my veteran colleagues were here when a plane struck the building on 9/11 and have described the experience as similar to being in an earthquake. As the hallway continued to shake, I could see from some of their expressions that some were thinking that the building was once again under attack," he says.

"I yelled out that my wife had felt the same shaking and that it must be an earthquake. The rumbling noise became louder and the hallway was visibly shaking. Not waiting for an evacuation order, reporters and press officers streamed out of the building to designated fire alarm areas. Then just as quickly as it had started, it was all over. In the next 20 minutes overhead announcements told Pentagon employees that safety officers were inspecting the building for any damage and in the end there was only minor flooding from a burst water pipe."

George Stephanopoulos, co-anchor of ABC's Good Morning America, heard about the quake just seconds before he too felt it.

"It all happened at once. Just as my blackberry buzzed with the first email from D.C., our Senior Producer, Eric Sherling, jumped from his chair with the news: 'There's an earthquake in the Capitol.' I could hear Eric running to my office, but thought it was strange that I could feel it too," he says. "That, of course, is when I realized that the earthquake had reached us too. So I grabbed my blackberry, and a tie, before heading downstairs for our special report."

For reporters traveling with President Obama on Martha's Vineyard, the news of the quake also got to them just before the tremors hit.

"Talk about early warning," says ABC New correspondent, David Kerley. "The majority of the White House press corps, camped out at a hotel at Martha's Vineyard, keeps a close eye on our computers and emails. At the ABC table, we started seeing emails from our colleagues in D.C. that they were feeling a quake. Seconds ? I mean seconds later ? the meeting room we are in starts to roll and sway...And it lasted for a good 15 seconds or more," he says.

"A piece of crystal hanging from a light swings back and forth. The producer I am working with didn't believe it at first, but soon realized it was a quake. The President was playing golf at the time. Two reporters at the golf course felt the quake, another didn't. A White House staffer who was there too, just told me he didn't feel it either. Waiting to hear what the President felt, and for the aftershocks."

Social Media Marketing For Local Businesses - Internet Marketing Ace

There is a lot of buzz these days about social media marketing. Business owners are aware that their potential customers spend a lot of time interacting on such tremendously popular sites as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

What are some ways that businesses use the social media?

The focus of any social media site is interaction. Your customers and potential customers can get to know who you are. Think of social media marketing as a branding opportunity. Your entire web presence builds your brand.??????

As with any marketing method, it?s necessary to have a well-thought out plan. Some companies are treating social media marketing as just another bandwagon and are leaping on without looking. Sending out random Tweets is annoying, but sending news of your sales, specials, and new products to people who have opted-in will build loyal customers.

Advertising

Your social media presence is also a very inexpensive and flexible advertising. In the old days people would look in the Yellow Pages to find a business. Now they are likely to look online. But customers expect much more now. If your Facebook page comes up early in the search results, customers who click through are expecting to get specific information such as hours you are open, directions, and other useful facts.

Make sure your social media presence has what your customers are looking for. For instance, a veterinary clinic would want to indicate that they specialize in cats or dry cleaner that offers pick-up service could include their service area.

Market Research

Social media are a great way to follow what your partners and competitors are doing. You can track events in your region or find out what?s trending with various demographic or interest groups. If your business has mainly a local customer base, you can see what?s going on with similar businesses in other parts of the country or the world.

Customer Feedback

Customer feedback is always something you want to keep up with. What do they like? What do they want to see improved? Are there ?wish they made a?? product niches that you might be able to fill? You can?t beat social the social network sites for knowing what?s on customer?s minds. The thing to remember is that every online interaction can be a marketing opportunity.

It is inevitable that someone will eventually post a complaint or an unfavorable review about your business. Be prepared for this with an appropriate response. Do not be tempted to fire off a quick and snarky retort. Your response is important because potential customers will be paying close attention. In addition, things written on the Internet have a long life, even when you delete them. Always post with your brand image in mind.

The initial is frequency. The greater you ride your bike, the better you will get hold of at riding. Youll corner better; youll ascend far better; descending are 2nd nature; youll have the ability to eat and drink up absolutely no problem. Shortly you will have the ability to ride no-hands. All therefore youll modestly be change for the better set to actually race on race day as a substitute of paying your energy focusing on the whole set of logistical stuff (eating, aid stations, passing, not drafting, shifting, etc).

The second is depth. The much harder you operate your mountain bike, the stronger youll get. Considering the fact that cycling is a great low-impact sport, about somebody will get on #a bike# and start pushing their fitness on the limit. Whenever you get tired, it is easy to coast or shift gears. You could stop anywhere to consume more if compulsory and, in a most terrible case state of affairs, you will permanently make use of your cellphone to call for a ride.
The Cut Off: This is a flat, time period test effort. The benchmark is eighteen miles covered up in a single hour (for Men), 16.5 miles for ladies.
The Exception: You need to do need a good bike fit. Regardless of whether your bike is $500 or $5000, it wont be worth a dime if you are able tot actually ride it.

The Run
On race moment everything comes right down to the run. You can actually be the top swimmer or bicyclist on the day, but probabilities are a athlete will pick up you just before the finish line. Success a sprinting is some harder than riding a bike, considering that its on a high-impact sports activity with possible for damage. Its certainly not as practically tough as swimming, still, so there could be a few center ground.

The best way to make better your running is thru frequency and entire body make up. I point out the body structure goods simply because being more lightweight implies you will be quicker; how you get there and what is right for you will depend on an exceptionally diverse set of personal factors; I cannot cover them here.

Frequency, on the other hand, is the foremost immediate route to get more rapidly on the run being a triathlete with no risking injury or overtraining. Provided the typical coaching load of swimming and cycling, a high quantity run tactic will lead to tiredness and breakdown. As an alternative, crack your running up into 4-5 sessions which might be mostly less than 45 minutes in length. Incorporate some intensity and lots of primary focus period for running with very good form. Increase 4 this kind of runs to 1 more time time and a few quite short bricks and you?ve got a lot of cumulative run time frame without the adding to price of lengthy personal consultations!

The Cut Off: A 5k run in more quickly in comparison with 25:00 (in keeping with a sub-4 marathon and sub-2 half marathon).
The Exception: Offer the pounding one?s body takes from running, its crucial for modify out your shoes as frequent as every 300-500 miles. Dont add this expense off; by the point the body lets you realize that you need new kicks it may be too late!
